I have to admit to holding back some tears while his beautiful hair was shaved away – but fully believe it’s his hair and his choice.  Really it is more about that he wants to make this choice and is just another sign of his growing up just a little too fast for this mommy’s liking.  And maybe a little bit about how much older he looks with his new ‘cool’ do he is so proud of.  And I am proud of him too.

  1. Wow – that is a big difference. But he is so super cute! Now it seems his eyes are really sparkling! (Ps – I can relate to the tears…that’s all part of being a good mommy 🙂

Oh my goodness, he looks so different! Utterly beautiful, though, with his eyes looking so big now. Can’t wait to see is new hair in person. 🙂

I face the same struggle on the opposite end with Nick. He’s growing his hair out again and I think he looks so much better with it really short.
